We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Care Home Manager to lead one of our residential care homes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a not-for-profit organization committed to helping older people – including those living with dementia – lead vibrant and fulfilling lives.
As Care Home Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring high standards of person-centered care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and strong leadership across the team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring excellent quality care and safety for all residents
Manage and develop a high-performing care team, promoting staff wellbeing, engagement, and professional growth
Ensure compliance with all CQC standards and relevant regulatory requirements
Monitor and manage the home’s budget, staffing, and resources effectively
Maintain high occupancy levels through strong reputation and community engagement
Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and local healthcare professionals
Foster an inclusive, supportive environment where residents are empowered to live meaningful, enriched lives
About You
We’re looking for a care-focused leader who:
Has proven experience managing a residential care home, ideally with a strong background in dementia care
Holds a relevant management or care qualification (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent)
Demonstrates excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills
Has a clear understanding of person-centered care and safeguarding practices
Is confident in overseeing budgets, compliance, and occupancy targets
Is passionate about creating a warm, vibrant environment where residents truly thrive
