The University of Reading is seeking a Regional Manager (Maternity Cover) to join our Global Student Recruitment team within Global Engagement. This role is key to advancing the University’s ambitious vision to attract and recruit outstanding international students.
You will lead on planning, developing, and delivering targeted recruitment activities, with a focus on East Asia and the UK international market, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea.

Drive front-line international recruitment activities and represent the University in priority markets.
Use resources effectively, ensuring best value and measurable return on investment.
Contribute to the University’s wider reputation and student experience by engaging with prospective students and applicants.
About You
The successful candidate will bring:
Substantial experience in higher education, particularly in international recruitment.
Proven ability to meet ambitious targets and deliver against recruitment objectives.
Strong understanding of global student recruitment trends, with specific expertise in East Asia.
Excellent resource management skills, including budget planning and assessment of ROI.
