The Role

We are looking for a Reactive Maintenance Co-Ordinator to support the smooth delivery of both reactive and planned maintenance tasks, largely undertaken by our in-house trades teams.

This is a key role within the Estates Team, requiring strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Support: Assist with scheduling and monitoring maintenance tasks, ensuring contractors are available and attend promptly.

Administration: Raise purchase orders, track invoices, and keep accurate maintenance records.

Quality Assurance: Review inspection reports, arrange remedial work, and ensure compliance with statutory standards and industry best practices.

Independent Working: After training, manage tasks with minimal supervision, prioritizing and coordinating contractors to deliver timely, high-quality outcomes.

About You

Strong organizational and coordination skills.

Experience in facilities management or maintenance coordination is desirable but not essential.

Proactive, adaptable, and committed to maintaining high standards across the University’s facilities.
