About UCL and the Department

UCL is London’s Global University, renowned for its world-class research, teaching, and public engagement.
The Library, Culture, Collections and Open Science (LCCOS) directorate leads innovative and inclusive public engagement activities and is internationally recognised in the field of Open Science.

The Co-Production and Public Engagement Team, part of LCCOS, supports UCL staff and students to collaborate meaningfully with external partners, communities, and the public. The team also includes the Co-Production Collective, a national support service co-created by hundreds of individuals including researchers, patients, careers, and community members.

About the Role

This role provides vital support across the Co-Production Collective and Public Engagement team, helping to coordinate projects, support events, and engage with our diverse community of collaborators.

You will:

Coordinate logistics for events and engagement activities

Support internal and external projects aligned with the Co-Production and Public Engagement strategies

Assist with marketing, communications, and community member engagement

Contribute to building a culture of inclusive and collaborative working practices across UCL

Key Responsibilities

Support day-to-day project coordination and team operations

Assist in planning and delivering public events, workshops, and engagement activities

Maintain communications with internal and external stakeholders

Support marketing, social media, and community outreach activities

Contribute to evaluation and reporting of engagement initiatives

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

Experience working in project coordination or administrative roles

Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently when required

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences

Strong time management and ability to priorities tasks effectively

An interest in public engagement, co-production, and community-based work
