About the Role

We’re looking for an Operations Leader to oversee daily plant operations, ensuring consistency, reliability, and excellence across the production line. This role directly impacts product quality, team performance, and operational efficiency. You’ll manage a section of our manufacturing facility or service shop, driving improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC), while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

You’ll have the flexibility to organize work priorities and adapt to changing operational demands, ensuring business goals are achieved effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a business area, operation, or unit to achieve defined targets for quality, cost, delivery, and safety.

Lead and support a team of salaried employees to ensure efficient and reliable plant operations.

Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organizational standards and benchmarks.

Build and apply growing knowledge of manufacturing and operational management principles to meet business objectives.

Collaborate effectively across teams to ensure alignment and contribution to overall plant performance.

Make sound decisions within established frameworks, consulting senior colleagues where needed.

Use technical and analytical skills to resolve production or operational challenges.

Communicate effectively and, where applicable, build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Provide guidance and leadership to junior team members to support their development and performance.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience in Manufacturing or Operations Management (foundational to intermediate level).

Good understanding of key business drivers and how operational decisions impact outcomes.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels.

Experience managing or supporting a team in a fast-paced production or service environment.
