Job Opportunity: Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant Technical Officer

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant Technical Officer to join our team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality pharmacy service to our hospital. In this role, you will provide essential support across all aspects of the dispensary and pharmacy stores.

Key Requirements:

• Pharmaceutical Sciences at NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent as required by the General Pharmaceutical Council)
• GCSE Mathematics and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
• NHS Hospital experience is desirable but not essential

This is a full-time, rostered role with 5 days per week, including some weekends and bank holidays as part of the schedule.

Salary: Pay Banding subject to Agenda for Change Evaluation

Main Duties:

• Provide a range of pharmacy support duties, including labelling, assembling, preparing, and dispensing medicines
• Assist with stock control, receipt and distribution of pharmaceutical products
• Dispense controlled drugs and process prescription orders
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical products across the Trust
