Full-Time (37 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
Band 2 – Salary: £25,694 – £27,900 per annum (pro-rata)
Distant Island Allowance: £2,482 per annum (pro-rata)

NHS Shetland is offering a paid placement opportunity as a Pharmacy Support Worker, starting in September/October. This role is perfect for individuals with keen attention to detail and a strong willingness to learn, especially those looking to transition into healthcare and contribute to delivering safe and effective pharmacy services.

As a Pharmacy Support Worker, you will play a vital role within the Hospital dispensary, involving tasks such as receiving and distributing medications, managing stock, ward top-ups, procurement, cleaning, and administrative duties. This is a training post, and the successful candidate will work towards an SVQ in Pharmacy Services (SCQF Level 6).

Fixed-Term Contract:
