We are now looking to welcome a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Dispenser or Assistant to join our growing team in Enfield.
What You’ll Do
As a Pharmacy Dispenser / Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both the dispensary and the pharmacy counter. Your focus will be on delivering excellent patient care, promoting healthy lifestyles, and ensuring the safe and efficient supply of medicines.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve and advise patients on medications, minor ailments, and general healthcare needs
Support the dispensing process: ordering, labelling, endorsing, and preparing prescriptions
Provide healthy lifestyle advice and support the delivery of NHS and private services
Ensure full compliance with GPhC regulations and company policies
Help maintain stock levels and ensure medicines are stored and handled safely
Engage with local GP practices and healthcare providers to enhance service delivery
Work closely with the team to provide a seamless customer experience
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting
NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or an equivalent accredited qualification)
Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification
Good communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Desirable:
Experience using ProScript (please indicate in your application)
Additional pharmacy training or qualifications
