About the Role

Citygate Volkswagen & ŠKODA is seeking a highly skilled Accredited Master Technician to join our flagship West London dealership. As a Master Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring exceptional service quality, mentoring junior technicians, and contributing to process improvements that enhance our customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Master Technician, your duties will include:

Performing scheduled servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines

Undertaking diagnostic investigations to identify and resolve technical issues

Completing electronic vehicle health checks (eHVC) and producing clear, professional reports with recommendations

Liaising directly with customers and service advisors to deliver outstanding service

Ensuring all servicing and repair activities meet safety, quality, and manufacturer standards

Participating in ongoing training to stay up to date with evolving vehicle technologies

Mentoring and supporting apprentice and junior technicians

Providing accurate written and verbal reports to the Workshop Controller

Identifying tool and equipment needs and escalating as appropriate

Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop and business

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification (or equivalent)

VAG Group background and, ideally, VAG Master Technician Accreditation

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality

Excellent customer communication skills—able to explain technical matters clearly

Strong time management and the ability to work effectively under pressure
