The Role

We are seeking a Lecturer in Politics and International Studies to join the School of Applied Social and Policy Sciences.

The postholder will:

Teach and develop modules across the Politics and International Studies programme.

Support curriculum development and programme administration, including the potential to act as Course Director.

Contribute to the University’s research and impact agenda, including outputs for the REF submission.

Engage with students, colleagues, and external partners to enhance the learning experience and strengthen the University’s profile.

About You

To be considered, you will need:

A first or upper second-class honors degree (or higher) in Politics or a closely related discipline.

A PhD in Politics or a related subject.

Experience teaching and examining at university level in politics or a relevant area.

Experience in curriculum development and course administration, with a willingness to act as Course Director.
