About the Role
The Reading School of Art is seeking a part-time Lecturer in Art to contribute to teaching and academic activity across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will deliver teaching in art practice, theory, and history of art, as well as support postgraduate research and doctoral students.
Your responsibilities will include:
Teaching and assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Developing effective teaching methods, materials, and assessment approaches suited to a diverse student body.
Undertaking administrative and academic duties as assigned.
Supervising and supporting postgraduate and doctoral research.
About You
We are looking for an academic with strong knowledge and ability to teach across practice, theory, and history of art. You will bring:
Proven ability to deliver engaging teaching at HE level.
Skills in assessment and student support.
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
