We are currently recruiting passionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our teams across seven of our wards.
Our Wards Include:
- Purdown – 10-bed Male PICU
- Hillside – 14-bed Rehabilitation
- Lotus – 10-bed Eating Disorders
- Blackwell – 11-bed Female Acute
- Redcliffe – 12-bed Male Acute
- Walter – 10-bed Mixed Acute
- Holbrook – 9-bed Private Services
We offer a supportive and caring environment where patients receive intensive assessment or medical treatment under the Mental Health Act 1983, working together to ensure the best possible outcomes and quality of life for everyone in our care.
About Priory Bristol
Priory Bristol Hospital is rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The Grade II listed hospital is situated in expansive grounds in Stapleton, just off the M32, and under three miles from central Bristol with free on-site parking.
The hospital comprises 76 beds across eight wards, providing a wide range of services, including Psychiatric Intensive Care (PICU), eating disorders, acute care, rehabilitation, and recovery. This offers you the chance to gain experience across a variety of services.
Our senior management team is dynamic and approachable, and we maintain excellent links with local universities, offering valuable opportunities to handle complex cases.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, service user-focused care
- Contribute to the development of new services and care pathways
- Support the local implementation of the Group Nursing Strategy
- Engage in continuous quality improvement within your service
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Abilities
- Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN and 12 months post-qualifying experience
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality
- Ability to develop and apply flexible, innovative approaches to practice

Shift Patterns:
- Day Shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Night Shifts: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
