Job Summary
The Clinical Engineering Department manages medical equipment for the Trust and several other healthcare groups in the East Yorkshire region.
We are now hiring a full-time Medical Equipment Technician to join our service team at Hull Royal Infirmary.
Main responsibilities of the job
Acceptance testing of new equipment, electrical safety testing, and routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of medical equipment will be among the responsibilities.
Applicants must have at least an HNC/HND (or time served equivalent) in a relevant engineering or science area, or have completed a recognised formal technical training programme and demonstrated experience working in a technical service support role.
Previous experience working with medical equipment is preferred but not required, as appropriate training will be provided to successful candidates.
