JOB SUMMARY
Are you about to qualify as a dietitian, or are you a Band 5 seeking for further experience? We’re searching for someone that is motivated, energetic, and has strong communication and teamwork abilities. This position is part of an expanding team and provides an opportunity to impact future service supply. You will have the opportunity to work with Specialist Dietitians who are experts in stroke, neuro rehab, gastrointestinal, critical care, surgery, frailty, and oncology. You will also gain experience working on food policy issues, promoting MUST screening, and developing services.
• Manage a caseload of patients with diverse and complex dietary demands.
• Create tailored holistic care plans that cover nutritional status, weight, recommended dietary adjustments, lifestyle factors, behaviour change, education, physical activity, and, when applicable, condition management.
• Improve patient care by implementing dietetic care pathways.
• Serve as a nutrition expert for medical personnel, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Communicate with healthcare professionals inside and outside the Trust.
