Job Purpose

Evaluate all areas of the client’s care requirements and provide health monitoring and direct nursing care as needed.

Assess the social and health care needs of new clients, and continue to assess and review all other customers.

Ensure that client care plans are prepared and maintained in collaboration with clients, relatives, and other health care professionals, while according to NMC requirements and business policy.

Administer and document prescription drugs in compliance with company procedures and NMC requirements.

Practice absolute honesty in all dealings with clients’ personal and financial matters, and avoid abusing the privileged relationship that exists between clients.

Supervise and train junior and new staff members on all aspects of their work in the care home, providing assistance and direction as needed.

Attend necessary training days/courses on or off site as needed.

Establish and sustain effective communication with customers, family, and the multidisciplinary team. Provide administrative support as needed.
