JOB SUMMARY

A market-leading firm in Luton, Bedfordshire, is seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join a team creating electronics for industrial control systems. Because their products are used in severe and hazardous settings, they place a special emphasis on developing ATEX/IEC-Ex certified goods.

The post focuses mostly on analogue design, and the successful Senior Electronics Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of new products, as well as the maintenance of existing product lines and the definition of product roadmaps.You will be situated at their site in Luton, Bedfordshire, although this employment allows for hybrid working.

Key tasks for the Senior Electronics Design Engineer position include:

Capture, specify, and manage design requirements.

Verifying and validating new product designs, either independently or under supervision.

Designing and creating new goods while maintaining a high level of product quality and reliability.

Ensure that the Design to Cost, Design for Manufacture, and Design for Test best practices are followed.

Participate in the development of product roadmaps.

The Senior Electronics Design Engineer job requires the following abilities and experience:

Proven electronics design experience in a research and development environment

expertise in analogue electronic design.

Knowledge of ATEX/IEC-Ex certification would be useful.
