Job Description
The Role
This is a flexible position, available full or part-time, with Saturdays shared across the team. There’s no on-call, out-of-hours, or Sunday work, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
As Head Vet, you’ll take an active role in both the clinical and strategic direction of the practice. You’ll provide leadership, mentor colleagues, and maintain high clinical standards, while continuing to deliver excellent hands-on veterinary care. You should be confident handling a wide range of surgical and medical cases, comfortable with sole charge when needed, and eager to help the practice grow.
An interest in surgery would be advantageous but is not essential.
The Team
You’ll be joining a friendly, close-knit, and supportive team that includes:
1 Vet (currently completing a surgery certificate)
3 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs)
1 Student Veterinary Nurse (SVN)
1 Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA)
2 Client Care Advisors
1 Practice Manager
The team shares a genuine passion for patient and client care and looks forward to welcoming a new leader to guide and inspire them as the practice continues to expand.
