About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Operational Security to lead our exam security function. This role will shape, strengthen, and implement global strategies to prevent malpractice and fraud, ensuring the integrity of our English language assessments.

You will:

Research and apply best practices in exam security.

Design and implement effective, scalable processes and policies.

Lead a team of exam security specialists.

Monitor compliance with security requirements and address risks.

Collaborate across departments and influence senior stakeholders.

Manage high-profile security issues and risks.

Represent English and Exam Services in cross-organizational projects, sharing expertise and guiding strategy.

About You

We are looking for a leader with insight, influence, and innovation who can drive improvements in exam security.

Essential skills and experience:

Deep understanding of global exam security challenges and effective mitigation.

Ability to challenge current practices and drive meaningful change.

Strong knowledge of regulatory and recognition requirements.

Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience.

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Ability to translate complex issues into clear, actionable strategies.

Awareness of developments in assessment security and related industries.

Desirable:

Experience in high-stakes assessments or education.

Knowledge of innovations from other sectors that could enhance exam security.
