About the Role:
The University of Reading’s Examinations and Graduation Team is looking for a motivated and experienced individual to lead our Graduation Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about enhancing the student and staff experience, and who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
This role offers the chance to develop and demonstrate leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills while playing a key part in delivering the University’s prestigious graduation ceremonies.

What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage the Graduation Team to plan and deliver high-quality graduation events.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the University to continuously improve graduation processes.
Manage competing priorities and ensure deadlines are met in a fast-changing environment.
Use data and reporting to inform planning, decision-making, and communications.
Build and maintain strong internal and external networks to support event delivery and development.
What We’re Looking For:
We believe people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences can succeed in this role. We’re looking for someone with:
Relevant work experience (e.g. student support, project management, event coordination, or academic services) and/or relevant educational qualifications or professional training.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational and team leadership skills, with the ability to manage workloads and meet challenging deadlines.
The ability to identify areas for improvement, propose solutions, and implement them collaboratively.
Experience in analyzing and interpreting data to inform decisions and reporting.
The ability to work effectively with colleagues to achieve strategic goals within the Education & Students function.
