About the Opportunity

The University of Reading is pleased to invite applications for a Global Engagement Administrator to join its Global Partnerships Office on a permanent basis. This role sits within the External Relations Directorate and plays an important part in supporting the University’s international ambitions.

Working closely with colleagues across the institution, the Global Partnerships Office delivers strategic initiatives that underpin the University’s Strategic Framework for Internationalisation and Global Engagement. As part of this team, you will help ensure that global partnership activity is coordinated, professional, and delivered to a high standard.

Your Role

As Global Engagement Administrator, you will provide essential operational and administrative support to a busy international team. Your work will help maintain strong relationships with global partners and ensure smooth delivery of international activity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and supporting high-profile visits from international partners and delegations
  • Assisting with arrangements for University of Reading academic staff and senior leaders travelling overseas
  • Managing and maintaining accurate records and partnership data across digital systems
  • Supporting meetings, events, and briefings related to global engagement activity
  • Acting as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a collaborative, international environment. You will bring:

  • Experience of administrative processes, with strong attention to detail
  • Confidence in coordinating meetings, visits, or events
  • Familiarity with digital tools, databases, and online platforms
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
