You will support a wide range of global partnership initiatives, helping ensure that international collaborations run smoothly and professionally. From coordinating senior-level visits to supporting overseas travel by academic colleagues, your work will directly contribute to the University’s global presence and reputation.

This is an ideal opportunity for a highly organised administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced, international-facing environment.

  • Support University of Reading academic staff (“flying faculty”) and senior delegations travelling overseas
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, databases, and documentation
  • Liaise professionally with internal teams and external international partners
  • Contribute to the smooth delivery of global engagement projects and initiatives

About You

We are looking for someone who brings attention to detail, confidence, and a collaborative mindset. You will demonstrate:

  • Experience supporting meetings, events, or visits
  • Confidence using digital tools and platforms
  • Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Previous experience in an international, higher education, or partnership-focused environment would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Flexible Working

The University of Reading recognises the importance of work–life balance and understands that flexibility can enhance wellbeing and performance. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements where possible and appropriate, in line with business needs.
