About the Role
We are hiring our first Growth Marketer — a foundational hire who will help shape how Magentic enters the market and scales.
This is a true zero-to-one role. You will work directly with the founders to define our ideal customers, test messaging, and identify the most effective channels for growth. Your work will lay the foundation for a scalable growth engine.
You will operate across the full marketing lifecycle — from customer insight and positioning to experimentation, execution, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Growth Strategy & Market Development
- Work closely with founders to define ideal customer profiles and buyer personas
Develop messaging that clearly communicates product value and differentiation
Build and refine positioning for a category-defining AI platform
Experimentation & Execution
- Design and run rapid growth experiments across multiple acquisition channels
Identify scalable marketing channels and validate performance
Turn early signals into repeatable growth systems
Customer Insight & Messaging
- Conduct customer research to understand needs and behaviour
Translate insights into marketing narratives and product messaging
Collaborate with product and sales teams to improve positioning
Data & AI-Driven Marketing
- Use modern AI and automation tools for analytics and campaign optimisation
Track, measure, and report on growth experiments
Continuously iterate based on data-driven insights
About You
Essential Experience
- Experience in early-stage B2B startup growth or enterprise SaaS marketing
Proven ability to drive measurable marketing or growth outcomes
Strong understanding of full-funnel marketing (research → execution → analytics)
Skills & Mindset
- Strong analytical thinking combined with creative storytelling
Highly experimental mindset with rapid testing and iteration capability
Strong ownership mentality and bias toward execution
Comfortable working directly with founders in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary: £90,000 – £100,000
