Our space division designs, manufactures, and qualifies Lithium-ion batteries for international space missions, supporting satellites, launchers, interplanetary vehicles, and constellations. Customers include NASA, the European Space Agency, and major commercial space operators.

The Role

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Financial Controller to join our growing space business. This is a pivotal role, providing financial oversight, ensuring compliance, and supporting ambitious international projects that impact millions of people globally.

You will oversee controlling and reporting activities, including month-end close under US GAAP, forecasting and budgeting, and Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting. The role also involves statutory compliance, audit coordination, and leading a small finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly management accounts.

Lead annual budgets and monthly forecasting processes.

Partner with the Site General Manager to provide strategic financial oversight.

Track and account for POC contracts across departments.

Manage financial input for RFQs, bids, tenders, and projects.

Deliver statutory-compliant financial statements and audit documentation.

Support tax compliance, including VAT, R&D tax, and payroll.

Oversee internal controls, credit limits, and receivables management.

Manage, mentor, and develop a team of two direct reports.

About You

Degree in Finance/Accounting.

4+ years’ experience in finance/controlling.

Knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP and POC accounting.

Strong skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.

Effective communicator with cross-functional collaboration experience.

Fluent in English; Big 4 audit background desirable.
