About the Role
The Philanthropic Finance Officer will play a key role in the Development and Alumni Engagement team, ensuring the accurate processing, recording, and administration of philanthropic donations. The role will also involve overseeing financial transactions, stewardship, and disbursement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and recording donations in compliance with University Financial Regulations.
- Managing financial transactions for the Development and Alumni Engagement team using SAP financial system.
- Ensuring adherence to financial controls and maintaining accurate records (both digital and paper-based).
- Supporting stewardship activities by administering donation disbursements.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in financial administration and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and controls.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar financial systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage records accurately.
