About the Role
As an Events Manager, you will take ownership of the full event lifecycle—planning, executing, and evaluating a range of engaging events such as conferences, networking experiences, and cultural programmes. You’ll work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients to understand their goals and deliver exceptional experiences that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end delivery of events, from concept to post-event analysis
Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring consistent and high-quality service
Create event concepts in line with client objectives
Develop and manage budgets, including handling multiple currencies
Source, negotiate, and liaise with venues, suppliers, and contractors
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery
Be on-site during events to oversee execution and resolve any issues
Prepare reports and performance analysis to measure event success
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in a similar Events Manager or Project Manager role
Strong understanding of event trends, technology, and sustainability practices
Experience delivering in-person, virtual, and hybrid events
Excellent budgeting and financial management skills
Confident communicator with excellent client relationship and team coordination skills
Flexible to work outside regular hours and travel internationally as required
Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused approach
Language skills such as Spanish, French, or Mandarin are advantageous
The right to work in the US is a plus, but not essential
Location Requirement:
Candidates must live within a 1-hour commute of Rye, East Sussex, and be able to attend the office twice per week.
