The Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader for the role of Director of Faculty Operations within the Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Sciences (FABSS).
This is a senior leadership position, responsible for overseeing the operational delivery of the Faculty’s strategic objectives. Working closely with the Pro Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean, you will ensure the Faculty’s professional and technical services are aligned with the university’s mission and well-equipped to support excellence in both research and education.
Key Responsibilities
Provide operational leadership across all areas of Faculty activity
Drive strategic initiatives to enhance research, teaching, and student experience
Lead, manage, and develop professional and technical staff within the Faculty
Ensure effective collaboration between academic departments, the wider university, and external stakeholders
Support the delivery of Faculty goals through inclusive, forward-thinking leadership
Oversee operational planning, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement
