About the Role
The Library is seeking a Digital Development & Systems Analyst to provide key support for its digital systems and services. Working closely with the Digital Development Librarian, you will help manage system administration, configuration, analysis, and user support.
You will act as the first point of contact for operational support across several systems, including the Library Management System, Discovery System, and Entry Management System. A core part of your role will be troubleshooting issues, building strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders, and supporting collaboration and innovation.
The role also involves working with data to monitor and evaluate system performance, making recommendations for optimization, and producing regular statistical reports to support operational planning. You will help colleagues collect, interpret, and use data to meet organizational needs, as well as contribute to the organization and delivery of training on library systems.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with strong IT skills and a keen interest in problem-solving. You should be confident working with complex systems and able to troubleshoot a variety of queries.
Key skills and attributes include:
Strong analytical skills with experience in handling and interpreting complex data sets
The ability to use data to support effective decision-making
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to colleagues with differing levels of technical knowledge
A proactive approach to learning and developing new skills
Previous experience with library systems would be an advantage, but is not essential.
