About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available to join the Brighton and Sussex Clinical Trials Unit (BSCTU) as a Data Manager. This role is part of the data management team and will support a variety of clinical research studies, including randomised controlled trials (RCTs) and clinical trials of investigational medicinal products (CTIMPs) across multiple disease areas.
You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and integrity of clinical trial data by overseeing tasks such as:
Reviewing trial data and resolving discrepancies
Developing Case Report Forms (CRFs) and Data Management Plans (DMPs)
Building and managing clinical trial databases
Implementing data validation checks and quality control processes
All work will follow Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines. Relevant training will be provided.
The BSCTU is a UKCRC-registered unit, based at the Brighton and Sussex Medical School, specializing in the design, delivery, and analysis of clinical trials. Learn more about our work: www.bsms.ac.uk/ctu
About You
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who:
Has a degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field
Communicates clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
Can manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Is adaptable and has a positive, collaborative attitude
Previous experience in a clinical trials or research environment would be advantageous.
