If you enjoy working in a structured, deadline-driven environment and take pride in accuracy and organisation, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to medical education.

Key Responsibilities

Support the preparation of exam content, including question collection and formatting
Carry out quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and consistency
Assemble exam papers and oversee exam delivery processes
Maintain and update assessment data and records
Provide guidance to students and academic staff on assessment procedures and timelines
Support exam boards and committee processes
Work with colleagues to improve systems and processes within the assessment cycle

About You

You will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

Essential skills and experience include:

  • Strong planning, communication, and organisational abilities
Experience working with data and administrative systems (e.g., MS Excel)
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail, including proofreading and document preparation

Desirable:

  • Experience in exam administration or a similar structured environment
Familiarity with systems such as PebblePad, SITS, or equivalent
Experience working in higher education or a comparable setting

You should also demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and flexibility—especially during busy examination periods.
