About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and well-organized Contracts Officer to join the University of Reading’s Procurement Team. The team plays a vital role in enabling the University to purchase a wide range of goods, services, and works that are essential to its operations.
This role is central to managing contract administration and supporting procurement activities. You will help ensure the smooth running of processes across contract management, administration, and data-related tasks using our finance, e-signature, and tendering systems.
This is a permanent, full-time post offering variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to contribute to an important function within the University.

About You
We are looking for someone who can bring:
Proven experience working with UK contracts
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time independently
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional approach to stakeholder engagement
Good IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
Experience providing administrative support within a team
