About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Service Manager to join our Community Dental Service at East Cheshire NHS Trust.

You will play a key role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of Special Care and Paediatric Exodontia services across East and Mid Cheshire. Working alongside the Clinical Lead and an innovative multi-disciplinary team, you will ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care.

This role carries responsibility for:

The day-to-day operational management of community dental services.

Clinical accountability for dental nursing standards, ensuring safe and effective practice.

Service planning, workforce management, and performance monitoring within agreed budgets and resources.

Building and maintaining robust partnerships with key stakeholders, including Mid Cheshire Hospital, where theatre sessions are delivered.

You will also work closely with clinicians to support, motivate, and empower them in delivering excellent patient experience and outcomes.

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

An experienced leader with a background in community or hospital-based dental services.

Skilled in service management, operational planning, and staff supervision.

Able to combine clinical oversight with administrative and managerial responsibilities.

A strong communicator, capable of working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Additional Information

Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS): This role requires an Enhanced with Barred List DBS check (cost payable by the successful candidate).
