Role Overview
As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving site machinery and facilities. You will support production by diagnosing faults, carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance, and implementing improvements across both electrical and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of warehouse machinery and supporting equipment
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), installations, and breakdown repairs
Support production uptime through fault-finding on electrical, PLC, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
Ensure safe working practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain a clean, efficient, and reliable working environment
About You
Previous experience as a Multi Skilled Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar role
Strong mechanical and electrical skills, ideally within a production or industrial setting
Confident in problem-solving, fault-finding, and implementing improvements
Knowledge of health & safety practices and root cause analysis
Able to commute to Exeter reliably (or relocate before starting)
Must have the right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)

We are seeking an experienced mental health practitioner and manager to take a leading role within our Wellbeing Services team (Wellbeing, Therapeutic, Residential Life, and Chaplaincy). This is an exciting time to join us as we move into a new, purpose-built Wellbeing facility alongside our campus GP practice.
You will provide both clinical expertise and operational leadership, managing a diverse team of therapists, wellbeing practitioners, and trainees. A key part of the role will be overseeing caseload allocation, supporting staff with complex or high-risk cases, and ensuring effective escalation procedures. You will also play a vital role in shaping proactive wellbeing initiatives and contributing to the University’s wider mental health strategy.
In addition, you will review and improve systems and processes to ensure efficiency, risk management, and the delivery of high-quality student support.
About You
A qualified and accredited mental health professional (e.g., therapist, social worker, mental health nurse, or equivalent).
Significant experience managing practitioners within an acute, therapeutic, or higher education setting.
Strong clinical knowledge, with the ability to oversee cases while maintaining your own clinical caseload if required for accreditation.
Excellent administrative, IT, and organizational skills, with experience improving case management systems and workflows.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
A collaborative leader with sound judgement, risk-awareness, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
