Job Description

Overview

We are a growing property management and lettings company based in Brighton, seeking an experienced Client Accounts Administrator to manage landlord accounts, financial records, and related administration.

This role is focused on landlord-facing account management—including bills, rent collection, and preparing statements—rather than full accounting or tax filing.

Key Responsibilities

Process landlord bills, supplier invoices, and contractor payments.

Manage rent collection and landlord disbursements in line with Client Money Protection (CMP) regulations.

Reconcile landlord client accounts and maintain accurate financial records using software such as agentOS, Letting Hub, or Xero.

Prepare and issue monthly landlord statements.

Maintain accurate records for audits and compliance.

Liaise with landlords, tenants, and suppliers to resolve account queries.

Prepare annual rental income summaries for landlords, to be signed off by external accountants.

Skills & Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in landlord/client accounts or lettings accounts administration.

Strong administrative background with excellent organizational skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Good knowledge of client money handling requirements in lettings.

Proficient with property management/accounting software (agentOS, Xero, or similar).

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Fluent Mandarin (spoken and written) – essential for liaising with landlord clients.

Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines.

Professional phone etiquette and ability to handle client queries effectively.

Confident in using upselling techniques to enhance services for landlords and tenants.

Competitive salary: £24,500 – £28,000 (DOE)

Additional Information
