About the role

We are seeking an ambitious academic with strong teaching skills and research expertise in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to join our Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Role and Responsibilities:

Provide academic leadership within the department and research area of MRI.

Deliver teaching and curriculum development at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Lead and collaborate on research projects, publish in high-quality journals, and contribute to the development of the UNNC Sir Peter Mansfield MRI Centre and other research platforms.

Support the growth of international collaborations and partnerships.

Requirements:

A PhD in a relevant field.

Proven research experience with a strong record of publications.

Demonstrated success in high-quality teaching at university level.

Excellent English communication skills (oral, written, and listening).

Strong organizational and resource management skills.

Ability to work effectively with colleagues and build collaborations both within and outside the University.

Employment Package:

Salary: 635,038 RMB – 780,622 RMB per year, depending on experience.

Additional benefits for international staff: employment support allowance, schooling for children, and insurance.

Initial five-year fixed-term contract, starting September 2025 (or as soon as possible thereafter).
