Your Role

As an Associate Lecturer, you will:

Deliver engaging, applied teaching and learning experiences

Support curriculum development and assessment design

Contribute to academic support, feedback, and guidance for students

Collaborate with a dedicated team to maintain and enhance teaching quality

Bring real-world insights that connect theory with practice

You may also be involved in shaping course content, aligning with the latest industry trends, and developing graduate-ready competencies.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for individuals who bring:

Expertise in two or more of the subject areas listed above

A strong understanding of industry practices and emerging trends

Excellent communication and presentation skills

A passion for student success and inclusive education

Previous teaching or training experience (desirable, but not essential)

A relevant academic or professional qualification

The Department

You will be part of our International Business, Hospitality, Tourism, and Aviation teaching team, within Sheffield Business School, a leading applied business school with approximately 6,000 students and 220 academic staff.
