About the Role
Skills Provision is recruiting qualified Dentists for multiple positions across Scotland, including the Highlands, Dundee, Glasgow, and Fife.
The successful candidates will provide high-quality dental care, focusing on both prevention and treatment. You will diagnose and manage oral health issues, perform routine and specialist dental procedures, and educate patients on maintaining good oral hygiene.
Opportunities are available for both general and specialist dentists.
Key Responsibilities
Examine patients’ teeth and gums, diagnose oral health problems
Take and interpret dental X-rays
Perform dental treatments and develop tailored oral health plans
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
Prescribe appropriate medications when necessary
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the clinic
Perform restorative and cosmetic dental work as required
Requirements
Valid Dentistry degree (BDS, DDS, or equivalent)
Registered or eligible to register with the General Dental Council (GDC)
Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written) – international applicants must meet UK Home Office English standards
Willingness to undergo necessary health and background checks
Strong communication and patient care skills
Open to NHS training where applicable
