About the Role
The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Surrey is looking for a dedicated and proactive Administrative Officer to join our Clinical Placements Administration Team.
Working closely with the Senior Administration Officer, Clinical Placements Manager, and wider teams across the School of Health Sciences and School of Veterinary Medicine, you will help deliver an efficient, high-quality administrative service that supports students, academic staff, and external placement providers.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support for clinical placements across health and veterinary programmes.
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth placement operations.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with university procedures and external regulations.
Respond to enquiries from students, staff, and placement providers in a timely and professional manner.
Support the coordination and delivery of key placement processes and communications.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates strong organisational ability and attention to detail.
Is IT confident, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative systems.
Is adaptable and able to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Works well both independently and as part of a team.
Has a customer-focused approach, with a clear understanding of student and stakeholder needs.
