University Health Physicians (UHP) serves as the academic group practice for the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine, partnering closely with its major teaching facility, Truman Medical Centers / University Health (TMC/UH). As the primary safety-net health system for Jackson County and the greater Kansas City region, University Health provides compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse patient population.
UMKC supports multiple residency programs and a wide range of medical education activities. UHP physicians play a vital role in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows while practicing in an environment grounded in service, innovation, and academic excellence. TMC/UH is a 547-bed, not-for-profit hospital system recognized as a regional leader in clinical care—including national recognition during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Position Summary
The Section of Hematology/Oncology at UMKC, University Health, and University Health Physicians is seeking a full-time clinical faculty member to join a dynamic and academically engaged division. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who is passionate about academic medicine and is motivated to contribute to clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activity.

- Providing high-quality hematology and oncology care
- Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
- Participating in research, academic initiatives, and section development

Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology (ABIM)
- Dedication to teaching, mentorship, and academic excellence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
