About You

As a Charge Nurse at HC-One, you’ll oversee the care of residents in your designated area, ensuring their needs are met with the utmost care. You’ll also step into a leadership role when the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager are away. From managing resident health issues and administering medications to keeping thorough records, your focus will always be on their wellbeing.

You’ll be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin and have a clear understanding of the professional standards set by the NMC. Your passion for mentoring others will shine through as you share your knowledge, support colleagues, and act as a practice supervisor to students.

Effective communication, both verbal and written, is key, and you’ll serve as a role model for professionalism in all aspects of care. Above all, you will deliver care with a person-centered approach, ensuring residents and their families feel valued and heard.

We take safeguarding seriously, and it’s important that you can recognize potential signs of abuse or neglect and know the appropriate steps to take. All team members are trained in safeguarding, with additional training available in related areas.

We also offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for applicants with at least two years of experience who currently reside in the UK. Please note, we’re unable to accept applications from outside the UK at this time.
