Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced nurse with a strong interest in Reconstruction and Functional Benign Bladder to join our existing clinical nurse specialists in urology.

You will collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team that provides surgical therapy to clients with bladder issues. You will exhibit expertise of benign bladder disorders, care, and management, as well as the ability to engage in skillful and sensitive interactions.

You will play an important role in the development of our diagnostic clinics’ treatment pathways (video/urodynamic, ambulatory urodynamics, and PTNS), as well as in the development and implementation of nurse-led clinics.

You will collaborate with other professional clinical nurses and medical teams.

The job holder is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered treatment to functional and reconstructive urological patients.

Responsible for evaluating, creating, and executing a specialist nurse-led procedure clinic.

Responsible for offering expert advice and support to patients attending benign bladder clinics, post-reconstruction operations, and functional bladder disorders.

Responsible for assisting other members of staff and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Support the ward team in achieving improved recovery and early discharge for subspecialty post-operative patients.
