Position Overview: We are seeking for a Junior Software Developer with a strong love for coding. If you are someone who not only enjoys coding but lives, breathes, and sleeps it, this is the ideal chance for you. As a member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced developers on intriguing SaaS projects, offering your talents while learning from seasoned pros.

We can offer assistance and mentoring, but not training.

 

Responsibilities:

• Work with a group of like-minded engineers at The Big Phone Store to create high-quality code for SaaS applications.

• Actively participate in the whole software development life cycle, from concept to testing and deployment.

• Show a strong commitment to coding excellence and a willingness to tackle difficult assignments.

• Collaborate closely with team members to fully understand project requirements and deliver solutions with minimum back and forth.

• Embrace opportunities for ongoing learning and skill development.

 

Qualifications:

• Strong enthusiasm for coding and software development.

• Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, and C#) and development principles.

• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Ability to collaborate in a team setting.

• A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

• Effective communication abilities.

Experience: Professional experience is not essential; however, personal projects, coding bootcamp experience, or relevant courses will be considered.

Location: This position is based in our Wolverhampton office with the opportunity of a hybrid work arrangement.
