Join SHAKEii as a Store Manager – Mandarin Speaking
We’re looking for an experienced Mandarin-speaking individual to join SHAKEii as a Store Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of the brand and leading a team that delivers an exceptional customer experience. Working alongside your store supervisor, you’ll manage daily operations, ensure high-quality service, and maintain strong team morale while driving commercial success and upholding SHAKEii’s values.
As Store Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to lead by example, guide your team, and work closely with management to understand the local market and competitive landscape. Your leadership will be key in ensuring the continued growth and success of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute operational strategies to achieve business goals.
- Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to inform decisions.
Inventory & Supply Chain Management:
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and reliable product availability.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and stock control of drinks, food, and groceries.
- Implement cost-effective procurement strategies while ensuring product quality.
- Maintain quality control for food and beverage products.
Operational Efficiency:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring consistent adherence to company standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement necessary improvements.
Outlet Management:
- Standardize operational procedures for opening, closing, and customer service.
- Optimize store layout and workflow to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure consistency and quality.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and supervise store managers, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Foster a positive, productive working environment and provide ongoing support.
- Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure continuous employee development.
Financial Management:
- Create and manage store budgets, monitoring expenses and revenue to meet financial goals.
- Perform daily sales reconciliation and implement cost control strategies.
Customer Service:
- Ensure high standards of customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Continuously implement feedback to improve service quality.
Staff Training & Development:
- Oversee training programs for staff on food preparation, customer service, and safety protocols.
- Promote a positive work environment and encourage employee growth.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health codes, and hygiene standards.
- Address customer complaints promptly and professionally.
Marketing & Promotions:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns.
- Drive customer engagement and brand loyalty.
Compliance & Regulations:
- Ensure adherence to all legal health and safety standards and regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
Technology & Systems:
- Utilize POS systems, inventory management software, and other technologies to improve operational efficiency.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Use data to track store performance, KPIs, and make informed decisions.
- Provide regular reports to senior management.
Expansion & New Store Openings:
- Assist in identifying and opening new store locations, ensuring operational consistency across all sites.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate operational risks, and manage emergencies as they arise.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, hospitality, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in retail or hospitality, with a proven track record of team leadership.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on team success.
- Experience in budget management, financial analysis, and cost control.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English is a must.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and trends.
