Job Description
Shape the Future of a Thriving Community Veterinary Practice
An exciting leadership opportunity has opened for an ambitious and forward-thinking Veterinary Surgeon to take the lead at Medivet Adlington. This well-established first-opinion practice is known for its loyal client base, supportive clinical environment, and strong reputation within the local community.
This role is ideal for an experienced vet ready to step into a leadership position where they can influence clinical direction, mentor colleagues, and further develop specialist interests such as dermatology or ophthalmology.
With the backing of Medivet’s wider network and regional support structure, you will have the opportunity to grow both professionally and clinically while making a lasting impact on the practice and its patients.
About the Role
As Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will combine hands-on clinical work with leadership responsibilities, helping to guide the practice while maintaining exceptional standards of patient care and client service.
You will work closely with a highly experienced and collaborative team, including an established nursing department with more than 40 years of combined experience. The practice also benefits from the expertise of Sarah, an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with nearly three decades in practice and additional acupuncture experience.
The role offers a balance of autonomy and teamwork, including two sole-charge days each week where you can confidently manage cases and clinical decisions independently while still receiving strong support from the wider Medivet network.
