JR003661 Veterinary Surgeon – Medicine(UK Visa Sponsorship)

Job Description

Build a Role Around Your Clinical Interests

This is a great opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon who wants more than routine practice. At Medivet Canonbury, the focus is on developing clinical interests—whether that’s internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, or cardiology—within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

You’ll be encouraged to take ownership of cases, follow them through fully, and build a deeper, more investigative approach to patient care. The practice is set up to support vets who want to grow their expertise and shape how services are delivered.

Why This Role Feels Different

Rather than rushing through appointments, this role gives you the time and support to:

  • Work up more complex medical cases in-house
    Strengthen diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Contribute to how the practice evolves clinically
Build continuity with clients and patients

It’s a setting where professional curiosity is valued and development is actively supported.

Your Day-to-Day Work

In this role, you’ll balance clinical responsibility with ongoing development. Your typical duties will include:

  • Managing a varied caseload, including more complex medical cases
Using diagnostic tools to investigate and treat conditions effectively
Building strong, trusting relationships with clients
Collaborating with colleagues across the wider Medivet network
Supporting improvements in clinical standards and services

Who This Role Will Suit

You’re likely to enjoy this position if you:

  • Are a qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon
Have a strong interest in medicine, imaging, or cardiology
Hold (or are working towards) a postgraduate certificate, or have equivalent experience
Enjoy clinical problem-solving and case continuity
Value teamwork, communication, and high standards of care

working as a qualified professional in the UK

Working Pattern
