Based within a 24-hour hospital setting in the Richmond area, you’ll have access to a varied caseload and a strong clinical support network. The role combines hospital work with occasional shifts in nearby practices, giving you a balanced mix of routine and more advanced cases.
Working Pattern
- 40 hours per week (full-time)
1 in 6 full weekends at the 24-hour hospital
Alternatively, 1 in 3 Saturdays at a nearby clinic
Participation in 1–2 bank holidays per year
 working rights and conditions in the UK
Your Contribution
In this role, you’ll play an important part in maintaining high clinical standards and delivering consistent, compassionate care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out consultations and performing surgical procedures
Developing clear and practical treatment plans with pet owners
Managing cases in line with professional and regulatory expectations
Working closely with colleagues to ensure continuity of care
Supporting team development by sharing knowledge and experience
About You
You’ll bring both clinical competence and a collaborative mindset.
- Registration as an MRCVS (or eligibility to register)
A strong focus on patient care and client communication
Confidence in handling both medical and surgical cases
A team-oriented approach with a willingness to support others
