The Clinical Setting
You’ll join a well-established surgical team that includes orthopaedic and soft tissue specialists, supported by a wider group of experienced vets and certificate holders. Collaboration is a key part of daily practice, giving you space to discuss, learn, and refine your approach.
The hospital is equipped with advanced tools that support modern veterinary surgery, including:
- Orthopaedic systems such as TPLO equipment
Spinal and minimally invasive surgery facilities
Arthroscopy and laparoscopy
CT and MRI imaging
Endoscopy and advanced diagnostics
This is a setting where you can work to a very high clinical standard without being limited by equipment or support.
What Your Day Will Look Like
In this role, your focus will be on delivering high-quality surgical care while also contributing to the wider clinical team. You’ll:
- Perform orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries
Manage your own caseload, including complex referrals
Build treatment plans in partnership with pet owners
Support and mentor colleagues within the team
Maintain compliance with professional and regulatory standards
Who This Role Suits
This opportunity is best suited to someone who:
- Holds MRCVS registration
Has completed (or is working towards) a surgical certificate
Has strong experience in orthopaedic and/or advanced soft tissue procedures
Is confident leading cases and contributing to team development
Values both clinical excellence and teamwork
