What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, your day-to-day work will centre on delivering high-quality care while building and managing your own caseload. You’ll be trusted to make clinical decisions and contribute to the overall standard of care within the practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out consultations and surgical procedures to a high clinical standard
Creating tailored treatment plans in partnership with pet owners
Maintaining compliance with UK veterinary and animal welfare standardsÂ
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care
Contributing to the development of team knowledge and clinical practices

You’ll be working in a well-equipped, thoughtfully designed clinic that supports both efficiency and high standards of care. Key features include:
- Three consultation rooms and a spacious operating theatre
Dedicated prep area for procedures
Imaging and dental equipment, including ultrasound
Separate waiting areas for cats and dogs to reduce stress

Working Pattern
- 4-day working week
1 in 3 Saturdays
No out-of-hours or emergency shifts

About You
You’ll be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS) with a strong interest in surgery and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care. You value teamwork but are also confident working independently and managing your own caseload.
