Job Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and values-driven Clinical Team Manager to lead the Scarborough CAMHS ADHD Service. This role combines strong operational leadership with a focus on delivering safe, effective, and timely care for children and young people.
You will oversee the full ADHD care pathway, ensuring high standards in assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing review. Using data and performance insights, you will manage demand, improve access, and reduce waiting times.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Service Leadership
- Lead delivery of evidence-based ADHD care
Maintain high standards of clinical assessment and treatment
Ensure compliance with key legislation, including the
Support staff with complex cases, safeguarding, and risk management
Hold a clinical caseload where appropriate
Operational Management
- Manage caseloads, team workflows, and service delivery
Oversee staffing, rotas, and resource allocation
Lead incident investigations and complaints handling
Contribute to service development and innovation
Staff Leadership & Development
- Provide managerial and clinical supervision
Support recruitment, induction, and performance management
Promote staff wellbeing and a positive team culture
Ensure continuous professional development (CPD)
Partnership Working
- Work collaboratively with schools, primary care, social care, and commissioners
Engage effectively with families and carers
Represent the service in multi-agency meetings
Support safeguarding responsibilities in line with
Quality Improvement & Governance
- Lead audits, governance, and quality improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with data protection and information governance
Use performance data to drive service improvements

Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Professional registration in healthcare or social work
Master’s level qualification (or equivalent experience)
Significant experience managing teams
Experience working with complex cases and risk management
Strong knowledge of safeguarding and legal frameworks
Experience providing clinical supervision
Understanding of medicines management
Experience in partnership and multi-agency working
Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge of psychological models of care
Understanding of current healthcare challenges
Experience in research and quality improvement
Knowledge of governance systems
