About the Role
As a Ward Sister, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the ward, ensuring safe, effective, and person-centred care for older adults with complex health needs.
You will be at the heart of ward leadership—supporting staff, maintaining high clinical standards, and ensuring patients and their families receive the best possible experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily ward operations, ensuring smooth and efficient care delivery
Lead, motivate, and support a multidisciplinary team
Promote a culture of compassion, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Maintain high standards of clinical practice and patient safety
Act as a role model and mentor for nursing staff and junior colleagues
Ensure care remains personalised, respectful, and responsive to patient needs
