Job Description
About the Company
At Anthropic, the mission is clear: build AI systems that are reliable, understandable, and aligned with human values. The team brings together experts across research, engineering, policy, and business to ensure AI delivers meaningful and safe impact at a global scale.
About the Role
This position is ideal for a commercially driven professional who also cares deeply about social impact.
As an EMEA Nonprofit Account Executive, you’ll play a key role in expanding the adoption of advanced AI solutions across nonprofit organisations throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Your focus will be on building strong partnerships and helping organisations use AI to improve how they operate—from fundraising and programme delivery to research and internal systems.
You’ll be working across diverse markets, each with its own regulatory requirements, cultural dynamics, and operational challenges. Success in this role requires both strategic thinking and the ability to execute independently.
What You’ll Be Doing
Driving New Business
- Take full ownership of the sales cycle—from outreach to closing and implementation
Secure partnerships with nonprofits, foundations, INGOs, and social enterprises
Building Market Strategy
- Develop targeted sales approaches suited to different EMEA regions
Analyse market trends and identify opportunities across the UK, EU, and emerging markets
Managing Complex Stakeholders
- Engage with senior leaders, trustees, IT teams, and procurement groups
Navigate decision-making processes in organisations with multi-layered structures
Becoming a Regional Specialist
- Stay informed on nonprofit trends, regulatory frameworks, and competitive positioning
Share insights internally to support product development and strategy
Expanding Ecosystem Relationships
- Build connections with sector networks, consultants, and technology providers
Strengthen presence within the nonprofit community across EMEA
Collaborating Globally
- Work closely with international teams, particularly US-based colleagues
Adapt global strategies to fit regional realities
Ensuring Compliance
- Align all sales activities with GDPR and UK GDPR standards
Address concerns around data privacy, sovereignty, and AI ethics
What We’re Looking For
You’re likely a strong match if you:
- Have 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales across EMEA markets
Bring specific exposure to Francophone regions (France, Belgium, Switzerland, or parts of Africa)
Have successfully managed complex, multi-country sales cycles
Are experienced in closing high-value (six-figure) deals
Understand data protection regulations and can communicate them confidently
Perform well in autonomous, fast-paced environments
Are an excellent communicator across cultures and seniority levels
Speak fluent English and French (additional languages like Spanish or Arabic are a bonus)
Have an interest in AI and its responsible development
Are motivated by purpose-driven work and social impact
Bonus Experience
While not essential, the following will strengthen your application:
- Background working with nonprofits, INGOs, or public sector organisations
Understanding of global funding systems and donor landscapes
Familiarity with nonprofit tech tools such as CRMs (e.g., Salesforce NPSP, Blackbaud)
Existing network within the EMEA nonprofit or development sector
Experience working with large international charities or federated organisations
Knowledge of sector-specific challenges (humanitarian, health, environment, etc.)
Role Details
- Location: London or Dublin (hybrid working model)
Office Requirement: Minimum 25% office presence
Travel: Up to 40% across EMEA + periodic US travel
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Visa Sponsorship: Available where possible, with full support provided
Salary & Benefits
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): £195,000 – £280,000
Performance-based incentives included
Flexible working arrangements
Generous annual leave and parental benefits
Supportive, mission-led work environment
